About
Lemontree Eco Surfhouse is a small surf-and-yoga house in the heart of Sagres, on Portugal's south-west tip, run by surf instructor Willy and yoga teacher Noemi. Rooms are furnished with refurbished second-hand pieces inspired by the colours of the Algarve coast, with mosquito nets, air purifiers and central heating. Guests share a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a stove, a garden and a yoga deck, and use surf-skates, bikes, beach gear and workout equipment for free. Free filtered water, compost and eco-friendly cleaning are part of how the house runs. The house hosts no more than 11 guests and is open all year.

Work setup
Every room has its own working desk, and the house has Starlink internet that the hosts state is about 80 Mbps. Between December and March the house runs a co-working and co-living season with weekly and monthly deals (minimum 1 week, maximum 1 month). The living room with the stove, the garden and the yoga deck are all places to work or relax.

Surf
The house is 200 m from Praia do Tonel and Praia da Mareta, two of the best-known surf spots in the Algarve, so every level can find a wave in any season. Group lessons (max 4-5 per instructor, 2 hours, all gear and transport included), private lessons and coaching, surf-skate sessions and board and wetsuit rental are available. Surf-skates are free to use.

You join the 'Lemon-fam': a small house where guests share the kitchen, the backyard and the yoga deck. Sunset yoga classes (about 75 minutes with a complimentary warm tea), surf-skate sessions and an organic, local breakfast served under the lemon tree can be booked day by day, with no fixed all-inclusive schedule.

The Lemontree Apartment
A bright, airy boho apartment for up to 5 guests in the annex of the surfhouse: fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom and two cosy sleeping areas, large windows and the shared backyard with the lemon tree. More private space with all the surfhouse perks. Discounts apply for longer stays: 10% for 7+ nights, 15% for 14+ and 30% for 28+.

Willy and Noemi
Willy is a surf instructor and Noemi a yoga teacher. They met in Sagres, when Noemi joined one of Willy's surf classes, and bought the house after seeing a handwritten 'for sale' sign. They wanted to work in a healthy environment that respects nature, and built Lemontree as an eco surfhouse.
How to get here
Lemontree is at Rua de São Vicente, Sagres (8650-370), in the centre of town; the main bus stop is about 100 m away and free parking is in front of the house. From Faro Airport a taxi costs about €90 and an Uber about €80 (around 1 h 15 min); the bus takes about 3 hours with a change in Lagos. From Lisbon Airport the bus takes about 4 hours with a change in Lagos, and by car it is about 3 hours. Check Google Maps for current bus times.

- The accommodation price covers the room and free use of the communal areas, kitchen, garden, yoga deck, yoga gear, beach equipment, workout equipment, surf-skates and bikes. Breakfast, surf, yoga and skate lessons are booked separately.
- Minimum age 8 years (younger children: email the hosts). No pets.
- Co-working season December to March: minimum stay 1 week, maximum 1 month. Summer season April to November.
- 5% discount automatically for 7 or more nights.
